Kenya’s resurging in 2009, so early bookings are essential especially in the smaller Mara camps from July to September. The political upheaval at the beginning of last year is now a distant memory and you’ll find the Kenyan welcome just as warm – if not more so – than in years gone by.

Talk to us about a fabulous walking/fly-camping option in the vast Laikipia plateau. We have some great deals combining Laikipia with the Masai Mara this season, making this an easy and exciting proposition.

The Kenyan coast continues to impress and simply reinforce our views that it offers better general alternatives to the Tanzanian or Zanzibar coastlines.

Gameviewing last season was exceptional early in the year right through to the ‘short rains’ when much of Kenya stayed remarkably dry. The migration made an early appearance in the Masai Mara and we had excellent feedback on river crossings through the season. 

The July to late September period should be superb again - if you've missed your space at some of the smaller camps then speak to us about catching the migration in Tanzania over the same period.

• We have a very strong alliance with a small selection of camp and lodge owners from whom we have some exclusive deals. Speak to Sam about some “unbeatable” value safaris in Kenya for 2009 and 2010.
